Hi @lavitaebella, you can apply for a tourist visa in your home country. With this visa you can stay in Thailand for 2 months + 1 month if you extent it at the thai consulate for a 2000 baht fee. You don't necessarily need a ticket out of Thailand when you come in to the country with this visa, but many people still do it to avoid any difficult questions.
