First Photos from Vancouver Island

We arrived on Vancouver island, Comox airport at approximately 4pm (mid July). Grabbed a rental car and drove straight to our hotel in nearby Courtney. We were pretty tired after starting out quite early in the day, but being the curious guy that I am, wanted to check out the lay of the land around our hotel. So I went for a walk toward the ocean. First thing I noticed were these little brown rabbits seemingly everywhere! Super cute. Much to my surprise, there was a tiny landing strip just behind our hotel. Hmmmm, hows that going to workout in terms of loud propeller noise early in the morning..we shall see I thought. Sure glad to be finally here, as we had been planning this vacation for sometime.
