Sunset Over the Atlantic

in #travel5 years ago (edited)

Here is a collection of photos we took today on Sidi Bouzid Beach in Morocco.

It was a tricky day for pictures, because a haze hung low over the water that interfered with the clarity of our long lens. It also blocked the last few minutes of sunset. At the same time, it created interesting effects in some of the photos, like the one below of a small boat that stays anchored several meters off Sidi Bouzid Beach.

The fisherman pictured below worked hard for his dinner this evening!

It was a good afternoon for cardio, says @michelios.

This group of local boys seemed to agree.

Running and swimming kept Michel busy until we lost the daylight.

The dogs also had a wonderful time.

Milo, our big tiger dog, looks very regal in front of the ocean.

Paige has learned the joy of having one's toes in the sand.

Tori watched Michel intently as he prepared for a swim.

Tori and Paige both put their noses to work finding things hidden under the sand.

It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

I'm still in shock and awe (sort of) that you were still in Appalachia a year ago at this time with no idea that you'd be HERE one year later, free of the mountain mafia, living the dream.

I still pinch myself about ten times a day.

The dogs look happy. What a beautiful sunset.

Oh yes, the sunsets here are magnificent. 😊 And the doggos? Still happy. LOL Life in Morocco seems to agree with them.
