Kampala is the capital and largest city in Uganda with over 2 million inhabitants. That's a lot of people and plenty of the city feels crowded like any major city in the world. However, this city also happens to be built along the northern edge of Lake Victoria so can find quiet places like these right along the lake that provide a peaceful getaway from the big city. This photo may look like I was 100 miles away from civilization but in reality a 5-10 minute car ride would take you right back into city life.
