Actually I did my thesis on digital nomads and loneliness. Not saying that loneliness applies to you but what might, is the concept of nomadic roots.

I had an interview with a guy who did research to the evolvement of nomads and he mentioned that 'in the end' people keep looking for a place to call home. This is not a place where one would buy a house, but simply a location to which someone keeps circling back to. This can be one location. But also three locations where this person goes (every year or so).

It is definitely not a weird thought!
