Dinner Time in Tahoe - 19 Kitchen at Harvey's Casino

On the 19th Floor of Harvey's Casino is a very nice restaurant called 19 Kitchen. I had never been up there, so it was on my todo list. Someone else had mentioned the Chart House as well, but judging by the pictures I'd seen on Yelp, it's surrounded by trees that impede the view a bit..

So Harvey's it is! Now where to find the correct elevators?
After wandering around a bit, we were blessed with this view out the 19th floor:

Looking out the East window, we can see the Montbleu Casino tower directly center, the Hard Rock to the left, and Harrah's to the right.

Notice there is a world class golf course in the back yard on the coast. It has got to be the most beautiful golf course I have seen since Pebble Beach.. and I don't play golf.

Heavenly Ski resort is up on the hill from here, and we look out onto the hotel complex that surrounds the lifts and gondola.

It's 6:15, time to eat. We enter the 19 Kitchen to see various art works, lighting arrangements and tile work. This place is really nice.

Let's take a look at the menus!

I'm going to start with Oysters, and a bottle of wine.

Time to wander around with the camera and get some pictures of the artwork and interior of the bar.

The interior of the men's room is pretty funny (sorry ladies, can't resist..)

The bar is separate, and looks West toward the California State line. The seating in this place is immaculate; the backs of the chairs are made of Rosewood and the overall ambiance is breathtaking.

The oysters are exceptional and really fun, even with red wine.

Someone else got the Rosemary chicken and it looked to die for... with little mushrooms on top.

Sunset and time to go back to the Beach Club hotel soon..
