Koh Hong, a wonderful island in the Andaman Sea, in Krabi province, in the South of Thailand - Part I
"Koh Hong" or "Hong Island" is an island in the Andaman Sea that is located in Krabi province, in the South of Thailand. Although it’s small, it has an abundance of nature; i.e. limestone hills, crystal emerald green water, white powdery beaches, coral reefs both shallow and deep water, etc.
That’s why Koh Hong is well-known as one of the most beautiful islands in the world that most people dream of.
Koh means island
Hong means room
There is a wonderful lagoon inside the island that is surrounded by limestone hills. There is only one entrance that acts as a door to this lagoon. This makes the island look like a “room” shape.
That’s why we call this island “Koh Hong”.

Wow, I never knew Koh means island 🤔 I've heard, of course, of Koh Samui, Koh-i-Nor... ok, that means something else :), but I hadn't thought that word might mean anything.
I also haven't heard of this wonderful Hong island - a real Paradise on Earth, for sure! ☺️
