Wat Phra Ram, an ancient beautiful temple in Ayutthaya province

Ayutthaya was once a capital city of Thailand over 200 years ago. Ayutthaya nowaday is famous as the province that has many ancient temples that can attract a lot of tourists to visit.

Wat Phra Ram is one of the ancient temples that has beautiful architecture.

Phra Prang is one of the most important buildings of this temple. It’s influenced by Lavo (or Khmer), which was another ancient community at that time.

Phra Prang is magnificent. There are small beautiful chedi surrounded Phra Prang.

Phra Prang looks outstanding, especially with the gorgeous light among the darkness at night time.

The large natural pond makes the temple refreshing and the reflection of Phra Prang is so marvelous.

Apart from Phra Prang, the big Chedi (or pagoda) is also awesome. Its shape and the architecture is unique and looks different from others.

If you plan to visit Ayutthaya, you may not miss Wat Phra Ram.
