Visiting Slovenia - Bohinj 🤗🌍

It was a very stressful month and my energy was very low so I decided it’s time to do something. We were visiting my friend last Wednesday and we were talking a lot about our life and how much stress we all have lately. So, we are talking and talking and all of a sudden in the middle of the conversation, my friend stood up and said - It's time to go on vacation. And we all, yeah we know, but we need a vacation right now, not in few months. And she took her phone, and 10 min later she came back with a big smile on her face. We are packing our backpack and we are going this weekend in Bohinj. Of course, we were all confused. She explained that her friend has an apartment which is currently empty, and we can go on Friday and on Monday is a holiday in Austria so that means we can stay a little longer. The best part - we received the apartment for free. 😊We packed our stuff and hey ho lets go.

Our destination was Bohinj.

Bohinj Lake with its surroundings is one of the main natural pearls of Slovenia. It lies within the Triglav National Park in the embrace of the beautiful Julian Alps. It is the largest permanent natural lake in Slovenia. It measures approximately 4 km in length and a good kilometer in width. It is just so beautiful, regardless of the season. The lake is surrounded by extensive forests and with unique waterfalls, hills and mountains with the fantastic viewpoints. Some of the routes are fairly popular, but we can find places, where only birds, mosquitoes and clean air will accompany us.
You can do so many things here - from swimming, rowing, sailing, surfing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, diving or ice skating in winter. You can ride with a boat along the lake or enjoy a relaxing walk along the shores.

So, I'm back, relaxed and ready for my next challenge and that is a school. People, I'm going back to school. I'm nervous but it's time to do something. 👍🤗
