Sintra

From Lisbon we took the train to sintra. Using foreign trains in Europe makes you realise just how over priced and ridiculously bad ours are. A return journey was about £5 each for a 40 minute journey.

I absolutely loved Sintra and despite being quite small as a town it is absolutely full of places. We only saw one so I still have lots on my list including Sintra palace you can see in the background of some of these pictures with the two white turrets. It’s also full of art and free parks.

I did find a lovely cafe there but this coffee in the photo, won the award as the worst coffee I have ever had lol it looked a lot better than it tasted!
