Pikeville Kentucky, USA Main Street

The picture shows the main street of Pikeville County of Kentucky, USA. One of the rich county inside the Kentucky state.

This calm and peaceful city is situated in a mountainous part of the State as it is a neighbor state of West Virginia.

This city has been a center of rapid development in Eastern Kentucky since the 1990s.
There are some good universities and other colleges already existing unlike the neighboring cities. There's the University of Pikeville which was previously the College of Pikeville.

In October 2005, the 7,000 seat, multi-purpose Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center opened in downtown. This is now serves to be the main venue for different concerts, sports and other big events.

There is also a Pikeville Medical Center which was established itself as a regional healthcare center. Shopping centers and other establishments are just a few minutes drive from the city.

It's a beautiful and peaceful city that is ideal to live in. People are so friendly and their accent is better than the West Virginians. Not too country-type people.

The best part also in this city is that, every street you will see was perfectly clean and neat! It reflects how responsible and respectful are the people living in this city.

Try to visit Pikeville County and experience it yourself.
