What picked my curiosity for detail is that the bell´s clapper does not appear to be cast from a single mold as the rest of the bell. It seems to have been worked by hammer. I´m guessing that the rest of the bell, which is too perfect to have been cast from an old mold is not actually from that time and got recently replaced, and the clapper is the only original part of it which remains.
