AS an expat resident in BsAs for years now, it was very intriguing for me to see this video through the eyes of a visitor. Yes, I've been to the Cementerio de Recoleta several times, and seen the Tomb of the Familia Duarte, and the final resting places of so many other great figures in the history of Argentina.

I've also been to the shopping mall across the street from the main entrance, and seen the six McDonalds. Yup, six of them in one mall; two fullsize Mickey D's and four McDonalds Junior. If that's not cultural imperialism, I don't know what you'd call it. Successful marketing, maybe? ;)

Anyhow, I follow your adventures with interest, keep 'em coming!

Oh wow! Thank you for leaving such a nice and interesting comment. BsAs really left a great impression on me. I certainly see why you as an expat would make this place home. Great food, great culture, and quite affordable as well. Hope to see stop my blog again soon. Have a great day! From Prague Czech Rep. -Dan

Ohhh, Prague! The Czech Republic! That sounds sooooooo interesting . Will you be visiting Slovakia?

I'm just playing it by ear. But I'm not looking to move around so much. I travel Slow and Relaxed. May hang here in Prague for a month.

You are right @world-travel-pro this is a very interesting series indeed ! And your right Evitas "Dont Cry For Me Argentina" Is for sure World renown! Loved your video tour , so big and beautiful but at the same time Eeeerie! so munumental ( im not up to snuff either my friend lol!) but they must all be very famous! I agree they could have at least moved the Arrow sign down a bit , inbetween two mosaleums instead. Will be waiting for part 2 and Evita. Great job as always Dan! upped earlier now resteemed!👍✌💕

Thank you so much Karen. So glad you found it interesting and spooky indeed! Love your GIFS! But you already know that. I've also got three post of just still photos of the incredible monuments too. I found this place one of the most interesting during all of my time in South America.

Cool! I would go travel there just to visit that place!👍😀

It looks a very large town dedicated to many mausoleum it is impressive those narrow streets the architecture of some of those building. You're right it is definitely a Catholic tradition I have seen something similar in my country but Buenos Aires it is larger than any Italian city.

Thanks taking the time to comment Phil. Yes this cemetery is like many from the Catholic religion, it's just full of deceased rich and famous Argentinians!

Fabulous video

Great video!!! I've never been to buenos aires but it's been on my list for almost ever now, I need to visit sooner than later. Very cool cemetary tour. It's amazing how different their cemetary is from the ones I'm used to in the US.

Thanks for leaving such a nice comment. Frankly I agree. I've never been to a cemetary this nice. There's like a dozen dead presidents buried here. This place is a big deal! Thanks for stopping by! -Dan

Yep. I'd definitely put that on my list @world-travel-pro. Especially if I could find a day that was a little less busy. 😁

Haha. Right indeed. I think this was a Monday. So it may have been "less busy". Imagine it in full swing on the weekends!
