in #traveldigest7 years ago (edited)

Dear steemian friend

My adventure and friends of nature lovers Malikusaleh University continues to Kersik Tuo Kerinci regency, we will success the highest mountain in Sumatra.

Our journey started from Tamiai Village and then to Sungai Penuh Town and directly to Kersik Tuo Kerinci Jambi Regency.

November 21, 2017 We tried to climb Mount Kerinci, we had stopped at Kerinci basecamp and stay there. The next morning I monitor the weather of Mount Kerinci, the rain is still going down and the peak of the mountain kerinci still covered with fog. The weather at that time was very dangerous, the storm awaited us. We had to wait for the Hurricane to abate and take the decision to camp and climb to the mountain of seven. Finally we moved to the Seven Mountain Camp and camped there for two nights.

On 22 November 2017 we are already at the seven mountain campground, we will rest there while monitoring the mountains kerinci weather and find out about the seven mountain.

We had time to spend logistics before entering the campground area, the plan we will stay two nights there.

This time we really enjoy the atmosphere at the earth of the seven mountain camp, the weather here is pretty cold and this became the initial training of adaptation before we climbed Mount Kerinci whose height is 3800 Mdpl or 12,467 feet.

Two nights already we spent time at the seven mountain campground, we will get ready to continue the journey to the seven mountains and the seven mountain lakes. Finish packing and praying, we climbed to the mountain of seven. 5 hours must we go to get there, so we will climb casually.

The track is quite uphill and long, so we have to walk casually so that our condition is maintained. Finally we arrived at the top of the mountain seven, rested briefly then down to the seven mountain lake. From the peak is seen lake which he said the highest lake in Southeast Asia. The tired that we felt immediately disappeared, once we saw it.

This is an amazing adventure for me and my friends. You should get down to find a good camping spot. There is a bridge there, it is a path to cross to the camping ground. There is a fishing boat on the edge of the lake, we end up crossing the boat.

We were going to camp overnight on the Lake, but it was a short time. While we have not had time to play there, akhurnya we will stay two nights there to be able to explore the lake.

November 24, 2017, that morning I woke up quickly to see the sunrise. All is not in vain, I get what I expect. The sunrise is starting to look, I have to pack fast to be able to take a good picture.

It was my perfect jump in the rising sun, I really enjoyed it. Ha ha ha :-)

I'm with @dikamtp to continue exploring around the lake while taking pictures.

After walking around the lake, I had to get back to the tent to pack. We had to get off before the afternoon, because our supplies were not enough to stay again. Before leaving the lake, we took pictures with our pride flags.

I am very grateful to be able to enjoy a piece of God's creation, this is my most precious achievement and will tell my successor later. Thank you for my Institute of UKM-PA Umpal, thank you for my predecessors who have educated me. Thank you for @irwanumpal, @dikamtp, Ketol ibal and Sulam Suska who have struggled to reach the seven mountains and the seven mountain lake. Hopefully the next adventure can be together again.

Thank you for reading my writing, hope you are happy and interested. My message you have to go to Lake Gunung Tujuh. For more complete information about Mountain Lake seven, you can look it up on google.com. See you again in the next post, which is certainly about Kerinci Exploration.
