Hello friends, I hope you are all well. For the 2nd week of the Steemit Challenge contest, I will be sharing my experience and a review of my visit to the Hillview Park & Cafe. I would like to thank the organizers of this challenge, and without further delay, I am starting my participation.

Hello, I visited Hillview Park & Cafe, which is a recreational center and a family-friendly park. Surrounded by a natural environment in a hilly area, the park spans an area of over a hundred acres. Due to its open and tranquil environment, many families come here for picnics on holidays. Its location near a cantonment ensures that there is no concern regarding security at any time.
Previously, the park was known as Cafe 24. Even now, tourists traveling from far away often mention "Cafe 24" to public transport drivers because many are still not accustomed to the new name "Hillview Park." It is located adjacent to the Bhatiary-Hathazari Link Road in Chattogram, within the area of the Bangladesh Military Academy. Tourists can visit here every day of the week. The park is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
It was established in the Chattogram Cantonment in 2013. To visit the park, one must pay an entry fee. There is a difference in ticket prices between adults and children. The ticket price for children under 5 years is ৳30 Taka, and the ticket price for adults is ৳50 Taka. There is currently no process for online ticket collection; you must purchase tickets directly upon visiting.

The hilly areas have been arranged in various shapes to create different spots. Most of the area is open and full of natural trees. There are multiple lakes throughout the area where tourists can enjoy boat rides, for which they have to pay fee as per hour, which may vary slightly depending on the size and quality of the boat.
Looking around, one can see various gardens and trees, and sitting arrangements have been placed in the shade of these trees for visitors. The main attraction of this park is that you can sit and enjoy the view of the huge lakes in front of you, and the peaceful environment and natural air all around will fill you with joy.
There are quite a few spots designed specifically for taking photos. Since famous tourist destinations in Bangladesh, like Nilgiri, are very far away, visiting them is time-consuming. But this park has created some replicas in those spots to simulate a visit through pictures. You just have to stand in front of these large posters and take a photo; a skilled photographer can make it look like you actually traveled to Nilgiri.

There are also several spots for couples. Some circular flower-shaped spots are known as couple spots, and tourist couples can sit there and take photos with the love icons. I saw one spot that resembled a thicket with a canopy made of vines and leaves, which felt like entering a cave when you walked through it. I captured a video upon entering, which I am sharing with you below.

The park is dotted with countless seating arrangements, and each one is unique. The number of seats for couples or a maximum of three people is much higher than the number of family-sized seats. I noticed countless seats made of bamboo, stainless steel, wood, and iron. Most of the seats are by the lake, so wherever you sit, the view in front will be the huge lake.

This park can be quite enjoyable for children. There are several rides for children, such as slides and swings, which can be seen at short intervals. There are also various other types of game equipment provided for children.
Most people come here with their families to enjoy a picnic, so the large fields are designated for picnicking. Since the fields are open-air and shady, picnicking here will be very comfortable.
Warning signs have been placed in various locations to draw the attention of tourists. To ensure no one engages in immoral acts, and since this is a family park, signs discouraging smoking and unique dustbin have been placed at various important points.
There are good quality and hygienic public washrooms for tourists. Separate washrooms for men and women are available in two different spots. Since the washrooms are clean and adequate, tourists will not face any inconvenience in this regard.
As people visit here from far and wide, there is a large parking area outside the park for their private vehicles. There are separate traffic sergeants to handle the parking area, so there are no parking issues.

What kind of entertainment did you get there?
I enjoyed the view of the lakes here the most. The lakes are not artificially created; being in a hilly area, you will find numerous natural hill lakes here. There were countless seats beside the lakes, and I sat on a bamboo-made seat for a long time, enjoying the view of the lake.
Enjoying the lake view while sitting in the shade of a tree felt great. One could have rented a boat and taken a ride on the lake. However, since I visited alone and the boats were meant for multiple people, I did not take one. But watching others' boat rides was quite enjoyable.
What is the most attractive entertainment to attract children or other tourists?
The most attractive entertainment features that drew children were the various rides and the large fields for playing, while other tourists were attracted by the peaceful environment surrounded by natural beauty and the lakes, as well as the open, shady fields suitable for family picnics.
Just imagine, family members picnicking on mats in the shady fields, children playing on the swings and slides around the field, and then strolling with their loved ones from the lakeside to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere – all these elements were present in the park, appealing to people of all ages.
