Yes, but not not really hiking into the "park". My father in law has a cabin in Rendalen. Been visiting it several times. It's close by and we have been fishing there a bit.
OK, nice, I love this area! There is not so dramatic landscape as in other parts of Norway but it has its own magic. I heard Femunden lake is a great fishing lake... Have to try it one day.
Come to the North of Norway. Spectacular up here, but you have to be prepared for som rough weather!
I have been to Lofoten once - I loved the place from first sight! I would move there but my wife really don't like darkness in winter time and extreme weather conditions... I think Trondheim is as far north as she can handle ;)
