SLC29-W3 | Urban Discovery Journey : Religious Cultural Activities.
I am very interested in participating in this contest of season 29 week 3 engagement challenge because it allows us to discuss the religious activities we have in place. Today, this is my contribution to the contest organized by @max-pro.
What kind of religious cultural place have you visited? Introduce briefly.
The religious place I visited is a masjid, which is not far from my place of residence. It was built in memory of Alhaja Iya Oloforo. I have known this memorial mosque as a place of worship for a long time, where faithful Muslims perform their five daily prayers.
I have prayed in this mosque a countless number of times, where the reward will meet the person for whom the mosque was built. The structure of this mosque looks perfect compared to some mosques in this area.
What kind of religious activities are seen here? (With pictures + videos)
The kind of religious activities that always take place in this masjid include performing the five daily prayers such as Subhi, Zuhri, Asri, Maghrib, and Isha. We worship our creator in this masjid, as well as raise our hands and make prayers to Allahu Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to ease all our affairs.
Only religious activities normally take place in this masjid, where we observe Nawafil and give charity to the Muslim Ummah during the Ramadan period. Muslims do not take Solah lightly, as it is one of the pillars of Islam.
What attracted you the most about this place? Or show the prices of books at that religious equipment store.
The things that attracted me the most in this masjid are that it looks portable. If there is enough land, the person who built this masjid will expand it so that it can accommodate a large number of worshippers. The color of this masjid also looks attractive, and all the floors of the masjid are tiled, so that worshippers can sujud on clean tiles.
The Quran is also available in the masjid, where worshippers can read it and gain rewards from Almighty Allah. Water is also available so that worshippers can perform ablution and enter the masjid to pray.
Is there any special moment or experience?
Not all the time I visited this masjid, but sometimes I decide to visit this masjid when we have an occasion nearby. When it's time for prayer, I will visit this masjid to pray my salah. I feel so interested when I pray in this lovely masjid because everyone accommodates us, no matter where we come from. You’re welcome to this masjid because we view ourselves as servants of Allah who always seek His blessings, as He is so merciful.

Reading this piece of writing really gave my heart peace. You have described this mosque and its spiritual atmosphere very beautifully. The way in which the feeling of closeness to Allah is reflected through prayer, supplication and worship is admirable. The cleanliness, beautiful structure and open and welcoming attitude of the mosque to all make this place special. That such mosques are not only places of worship but also a means of connecting Muslims. May Allah keep this mosque forever and accept the prayers of those who come here.
