Actsofkindness : Free health services in my village

Posyandu cadres are purchasing services from residents
Free healthcare services in my village are a tangible manifestation of community well-being, and the Kemilau Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in Gampong Blang serves as a crucial platform for achieving this. This Posyandu regularly provides healthcare services to toddlers, pregnant women, and the elderly, ensuring that all levels of society can benefit without the burden of costs.
Kemilau Posyandu activities are usually conducted in an orderly and collaborative atmosphere. From early morning, Posyandu cadres are ready to serve the community. Toddlers receive special attention through weighing, height measurement, and growth and development monitoring. Furthermore, parents are educated on balanced nutrition, healthy eating habits, and the importance of immunizations for maintaining children's health from an early age.

For pregnant women, the Kemilau Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) provides routine checkups, such as weight checks and blood pressure checks, as well as pregnancy health consultations. These services are very helpful for mothers to monitor their own and their fetus's condition, while also receiving guidance from health workers to ensure a healthy pregnancy until delivery. The presence of the Posyandu also provides a sense of security and comfort for pregnant women, as they can consult without having to travel far to other health facilities.
Not only toddlers and pregnant women, but the elderly in our village also receive beneficial health services. Blood pressure checks, basic health checks, and counseling on healthy lifestyles are part of the Posyandu activities. With these services, the elderly feel more cared for and motivated to maintain their health and remain active in their daily lives.
What makes the Kemilau Posyandu so special is the spirit of mutual cooperation and social care that is woven within it. Posyandu cadres, village officials, and health workers work together to provide the best possible service to the community. All these services are provided free of charge, so anyone can access them without worry.

The Gampong Blang Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) is not only a health service facility, but also a space for community outreach and education for our village community. Through these activities, we continue to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining good health, ensuring a healthy, strong, and prosperous Gampong Blang community.
