Prayer time
I had the opportunity to visit a traditional and religiously important mosque today. I offered prayers there. The mosque is not only a place for prayers, but it is also an important center of the religious, social and cultural life of Muslims. The mosque is not very recognizable from a distance. This mosque is the Habra Central Jame Masjid located next to the Habra Zamindar house in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district.

This mosque was built in the eighties. The current Imam and Khatib of this mosque is Mehdi Hasan. Since this mosque is located next to the main road, it is easy to travel here. This mosque is open every day from morning to 9 pm. After this, the inner part of the mosque is closed and the outer part is opened.

Five daily prayers are offered in this mosque. The presence of worshippers is highest especially during Friday prayers. In addition, Quran recitation, Tafsir classes, Hadith readings, Islamic discussion meetings and Maktab education for children are organized. In addition, the Islamic invitation of Tablighi Jamaat is held every Tuesday from this mosque.

Sometimes, three-day congregations come here from different parts of the country. During the month of Ramadan, tarabia prayers, Iftar mahfils and charity activities make this mosque more lively. Especially the scene of young children coming to the mosque to pray. During religious festivals such as Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha the mosque becomes a gathering place for Muslims. Because on those days, everyone collects money for donations to the mosque.

The atmosphere inside the mosque attracted me the most. The clean carpets, the orderly rows, the beautiful Arabic calligraphy on the walls and the aesthetic design of the mihrab and pulpit are really charming. There is a high school and a girls' school and three kindergarten schools next to this mosque. During the Hajj prayers, 100-150 students come here to pray together.

Most of the students here are 6-10 years old. I like seeing these young children praying. They come to the mosque and perform ablution beautifully, then perform the Sunnah Nama and perform the Farz prayers in congregation. These young children did not come to prayers before, but out of respect for the teachers, they came to the mosque and filled their souls. This scene is the most pleasing to me. I share such beautiful scenes with everyone in this mosque.

While studying in a high school here, I used to pray here every day. I often saw our Islamic teacher and biology teacher praying there and they would often beg Allah to ask for various things which seemed very interesting to me. I have never forgotten the tears in my eyes of my sirs and their practice of getting close to Allah and it is etched in my mind. I still follow those tips. It was one of the most memorable and sweet times for me.

That is why going to the mosque is the most peaceful place and a suitable place to get close to Allah. All in all, visiting this mosque is a memorable and educational experience for me. I often pray in this mosque. The imam here has made me more aware of religious principles and taught me various prayers to get close to Allah.
