I recently visited a well-known pharmacy in my area, “Chowpatty Bazar Pharmacy”. It is a modern and well-organized medicine shop. Where various healthcare facilities are available along with essential medicines. The pharmacy is located in the heart of the market, making it easily accessible for patients and the general public. Blood sugar and blood pressure are measured here.

This is basically a full-fledged pharmacy, where medicines from various domestic and foreign companies are available. In addition to giving medicines as per prescription, they also provide initial advice to the patients. No antibiotics are given here without the advice of an MBBS doctor. One of the biggest advantages of the pharmacy is its 24-hour emergency service. He is a pharmacist in our area, so if you call him anytime, he will be there. If you suddenly fall ill at night or in the evening, you can collect medicine from here and bring him home for a health check-up. He charges a very small fee for this service. The important emergency services here include:

Blood pressure (BP) measurement facility,
Blood sugar test,
Nebulizer service,
Injection and saline push facility (by trained person),
First aid, (stitching the cut area)
Fast medicine delivery (home delivery in some cases).

I went there to treat my mother's knee pain. First, the pharmacist asked about my mother's symptoms and asked if she had any previous illnesses or allergies. Then he prescribed the medicine and explained in detail how and when to take it. He also advised her to rest and drink enough water and advised her not to lift heavy objects. His behavior was polite and sincere, which satisfied me.

The pharmacy environment was clean and tidy. The medicines were arranged in separate shelves according to categories, so they could be found quickly. Even though it was crowded, they were providing service in an orderly manner following the serial. There was cash and mobile banking facility for payment, which was time-saving.According to my experience, Chowpatty Bazar Pharmacy has become a place of trust for the locals due to its quick service in times of emergency and providing necessary health advice. Also, he is a son of the area, so all the treatment is good.
