CineAtlas 60 | Week 1 — One Take Intro | [Haji Biryani Restaurant / Dhaka]

Hello friends, welcome to the new season. Today I'm here to participate in the wonderful 1st week of this SC-S30 | CineAtlas60 Week 1 - One Take Intro competition organized by @kouba01.

This time our goal is to create a global "cinema atlas". Converting real places into micro-films in a week. I captured all the scenes using just a smartphone.

I went to a famous restaurant in my city. In front of the restaurant, some traditional food is prepared, which we call chicken fry and naan bread. I captured the scene in front in one take. There was no cutting, no editing.

It is known as Haji Biryani Restaurant, which is located in Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It is wonderful to see the scenes when the chef or cook makes chicken fry during busy hours. On one side of the restaurant, a few chefs were busy making chicken fry.

There is a reason why I chose this place. I want to present the traditional dishes of my country to everyone, so maybe I had to work hard. But I saw how the dishes are served to people. When you see the dishes being prepared in front of your eyes, that feeling will be amazing.

This is important because the special dishes of Bangladesh, biryani and chicken fry, are prepared directly in front of people and the significant steps of making them are presented. For a moment, I thought about the chefs of that restaurant, how they prepare so many traditional dishes so quickly.

When hot oil is poured into a large tower, light bubbles are created. When the chicken is fried in hot oil, that sound reaches our ears. If you notice in the video, you can hear the sound of frying the chicken. The restaurant is very big but the inside is only for outsiders.

I only captured the outside view from where the food is prepared directly and can see it face to face in the morning. People from different regions come to eat this traditional chicken fry. When the chicken fried in hot oil floats before our eyes, that scene looks amazing. Especially in front of the restaurant, more food logos and the behavior of the chefs can be seen.

This restaurant is located in Dhaka Purbachal. A huge trade fair is held next to it every year, so hundreds of people come just to enjoy the traditional chicken fry food and food traditions. Many employees work in the restaurant, especially waiters and chefs. Their activities can be seen directly in front of the people.

Usually, cooking is done inside the restaurant in Bangladesh, but here traditional dishes are prepared in front of people so that customers can capture the moments of cooking. Thousands of people eat chicken fry with naan bread here every day. Attractive advertisements have been made in front of the restaurant with logos of different types of food. In addition, four chefs are constantly busy cooking.

They are fried in front of everyone and presented so beautifully that you will want to eat them. There is a counter where there is a kebab counter as chicken fry, there is haji biryani in the rice section, there is naan roti in the bread section. Each section has a separate employee to serve the customers. Fried chicken is one of the traditional dishes of Bangladesh. That is why this recipe is specially presented in front of everyone.

They treat customers well and the interior is clean. I visited this restaurant and their interaction with people is very friendly.
