SC-S29|Geo-Quest Mystery – Week 4: History Glitch

in Traveling Steem2 days ago

Today I am here to participate in the engagement of this topic ""SC-S29|Geo-Quest Mystery – Week 4: History Glitch". History Glitch, but who am I to review our National Memorial of Bangladesh.

Hello friends, I went to our Bangladesh National Memorial which is located in Savar, Dhaka. The National Memorial in Savar is a symbol of the independence struggle of Bangladesh and a humble tribute of the nation to the brave martyrs. In this context, a huge memorial has been built. The National Memorial located in Nabinagar, Savar is a unique architecture built in memory of the brave martyrs of the Bangladesh Liberation War.

I went to this memorial a few days ago. December 16th is the National Victory Day of Bangladesh, so I went to this memorial to pay respect to the martyrs. It is nice to see the HSC from a distance, but I was not allowed to enter because some construction work was going on inside on the occasion of December 16th, so the general public was not allowed to enter.

However, after entering through the gate, I was allowed to go from one side to the other. There are two gates to enter here, one on the right side is the main gate and the other on the other side is the VIP gate.

The bloody history of Bangladesh is intertwined behind the HSC interest. If you want to know a little history, then I will say that Bangladesh achieved victory after a long nine-month bloody struggle in the great liberation war of 1971. 3 million people were martyred in this war. We still respect the people who were martyred in that war. In exchange for their blood, we got Bangladesh. This memorial has been built next to their graves to commemorate them.

Before entering the entrance, there is a signboard that reads "This blood stream of the hero, this tear of the mother, what value will it be worth to wash those who are caught". I still do not understand the meaning of this saying. Apart from that, there is another historical pillar where some quotes are written, which I showed you a picture of.

The original design of the National Memorial was done by renowned architect Syed Mainul Hossain. It consists of seven pairs of triangular walls or pillars made of concrete. When I went, the military was practicing in front of it on the occasion of December 16.

December 16 is the National Victory Day of Bangladesh, so the military had to take many steps on that day, so they were practicing in advance, but I captured the scenes from a distance. There is a beautiful flower garden in front. There is a Bangladesh flag in front of the memorial. However, for security reasons, a boundary has been made in front so that no one except the officials and military personnel present at that place can enter inside.

So the inside was in a very peaceful environment and there were military forces moving around in this place all the time. When I went, it was noon. That's why the military army and the Bangladesh Border Guard were deployed there.

However, after a while, I saw a notice that was posted on the gate. It says that throwing any kind of garbage, singing, or selling flowers inside the stream is prohibited. Also, it is prohibited to enter from 5 pm to 10 am the next day.

Some warning sign boards

There is a beautiful flower garden inside the memorial. Military forces are always moving in front of it, but you can sit in front and take pictures. Since it is far from the memorial, the view of the distant memorial can be enjoyed beautifully from here.

Since all the scenes here are under the government, they are controlled by CCTV cameras. However, you can see the lights in the poles every now and then. These are used at night. After all, as a government place, it is a historical place. Below are some pictures and video links.

As a hidden clue, say this: How many categories of military forces are there in front of the memorial? How many of their uniforms will make a century?

Your clue seems to be too difficult for me as the National Martyrs' Memorial located in Nabinagar, Savar, Bangladesh, honors those who died in the 1971 Liberation War.

I know a lot about your struggle for freedom but as much as I know and saw the main structure features seven triangular prisms symbolizing key events in Bangladesh's history. I have seen mass graves, a reflection pool, unless you are talking about 1000 identified graves.

I have also knowledge about Bangladesh has three primary military branches like ours as Army, Navy, and Air Force. I can only say your query may refer to symbolic elements like the seven potentially miscounted but I have no idea how many uniforms or figures totaling a century. All the best
