CineAtlas 60 | Week 1 — One Take Intro | [Padma River & Ferry Ghat - Rajbari]

in Traveling Steem20 days ago

Hello Everyone I Am @MEMAMUN 👳‍♀️ From #Bangladesh

Dear friends, I hope you are all well. Alhamdulillah, by the mercy of Allah, I am also doing very well. Today I have come to participate in an engagement contest, which is a very important chapter for this platform. The topic given in this chapter for this week is SC-S30 | CineAtlas60 Week 1 - One Take Intro competition organized by @kouba01. So, let's get started, brother.

Now it's my turn to create a worldwide cinema atlas, where I will make a film like a movie that will include the scene I will present. This scene will become part of a cinema atlas in the world, and to present it beautifully, I am showcasing my smartphone as an important photography tool.

I want to include one of Bangladesh's rivers, the Padma River, in the cinema atlas film, which reflects the hearts of every Bangladeshi connected to this river. Not only that, there are many ferry ghats and boat ports along this river. I am mainly presenting some discussions about the Dhawa Para Ferry Ghat and the Padma River, and showcasing the location to everyone in the form of a film.

Padma River and Ferries in Bangladesh

This is one of the districts of Bangladesh, called Rajbari, and when you cross from Rajbari via the Padma River, you will arrive in Pabna district. In other words, the riverside on this side is Rajbari, which is the capital, and across the river is Pabna. To put it more simply, Rajbari is on the north side of the river and Pabna is on the south side. I am mainly sharing information about Dhawapara Ferry Ghat in Rajbari and about the river while traveling from north side Rajbari to Pabna. Consider it as a cinematic atlas.

The main feature of this place is actually the ferry ghat, and through the ferry, large vehicles such as different buses, microbuses, and trucks travel. Essentially, the ferry ghat is used for this kind of traffic, and via the ferry, a travel system is arranged. Passengers who are on the buses either sit inside the bus or sometimes sit on the ferry as well. I have taken some photos of the ferry ghat and presented them so that viewers can clearly understand and see it.

So far, I have discussed the ferry ghat before you in the film Atlas. The most important thing related to this ferry ghat is the Padma River. When we boarded the ferry and it started moving, we could see the beauty of the river. The beauty of this river and the ferry ghat can be enjoyed while sitting on the ferry. You will be able to see the beauty of the river and the ferry ghat during the ferry ride.

Here, every person boards the ferry to enjoy its beauty and the natural environment. Just as anyone watching my film as a viewer would surely understand, this film presents these things very beautifully. Where the beauty of the river and the free beauty of the ferry ghat will surely captivate people. The ferry is so big that it can accommodate three buses, a truck, and a microbus. And the water is so abundant that the ferry can navigate very smoothly.

These are the ferries and ferries

At this ghat, the travelers, and those in buses, trucks, and various types of steps can spend a pleasant time on the ferry. This is because there is a natural environment and fresh air all around. The pure air that comes with the river's waves and water allows passengers and people to have a good time. Additionally, on this ferry, people can do some shopping and eat light snacks such as roasted nuts, puffed rice, and puffed rice with jaggery; there are also various types of pickles and sour foods available.

Therefore, I think the ferry ghat is extremely important for people's movement, and all kinds of facilities are available here. The car rental, that is, the ferry rental, does not have to be paid by passengers but rather by car owners. You can feel some peace for a while and take some rest. Also, the Nabi car or disfavored ones are everyone's favorite. It is important to locate this favorite place and present it to everyone. I have a moment-long video of this river in such a way without any editing. You and the viewers can beautifully feel the essence of the river.

Evaluation — CineAtlas 60 (Week 1: One Take Intro)

Post: @memamun — “CineAtlas 60 | Week 1 — One Take Intro | Padma River & Ferry Ghat – Rajbari”

Evaluation Summary (Week 1)

Criteria (Rubric /10)ScoreShort comments
1) Weekly rule respected (One Take + 20–60s + required links) / 32.7 / 3.0One-take “without editing” is clearly stated, YouTube link is provided.
2) Story clarity & creativity / 21.7 / 2.0Clear place identity + purpose (river lifeline + ferry movement). Good “cinema atlas” framing and travel-from-one-bank-to-other narrative.
3) Video execution (framing, stability, sound clarity) / 21.6 / 2.0Viewers mention enjoyable moments (boat entering at ~0:35, siren/laughter at end). Likely good atmosphere; could still improve stability and shot planning.
4) SteemAtlas pin quality (relevant description + correct location) / 11.0 / 1.0Pin + coordinates + place name are complete and the pin display is verified on SteemAtlas.
5) Presentation (stills/screenshots, clean structure) / 10.9 / 1.0Strong photos, useful tables (ferry costs + snacks). Slightly long/repetitive in places.
6) Engagement (Shot Breakdown comments on others) / 10.2 / 1.0Comments from others exist on your post, but the excerpt doesn’t show links to your own two Shot Breakdown comments on other Week 1 entries.

Final Score: 8.1 / 10

General Comment

This is a strong Week 1 entry: the Padma River + ferry ghat is a “real Bangladesh” location with natural cinematic movement built in (vehicles, boats, crossing). Your post is well-supported with photos and practical details, and the one-take intent is clear. To push into top scores, make compliance easier to verify by placing the Speem.watch link clearly next to the YouTube link, and add two direct links to your Shot Breakdown comments for full engagement points. A slightly tighter, more deliberate one-take camera path (establishing shot → ferry loading → river crossing moment → closing frame) would also lift the execution score.

Your video is beautifully presented. The Padma River and the atmosphere of the Rajbari ferry terminal are truly amazing. This route is one of the important waterways of the country, where many vehicles cross daily through the Daulatdia-Paturia ferry.
The way you introduced yourself and the location in one go was very interesting.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful travel experience with us.

I can see you boating from Dhawa Para Ferry Ghat in Padma river. I know about this river and also that it's lifeline of your country. I cherished point 35 when another boat entered the scene and of course a laughter and loud siren at the end. Good job.

Thank you so much dear brother

I can see the boat was on standby ready for passengers so it can move. One of the means of travel that I am scared of is water, but seeing how beautiful the beach you have shared is I feel like having a water trip or swimming. Good luck to you
