Finding Peace at Sanchi Stupa : Hidden Ancient Place

Friends trips mean loud fun. We love the laughs and constant inside jokes. But some places need quiet time. Our visit to Sanchi Stupa showed us this. That ancient spot in Madhya Pradesh brought a lovely, silent change.

We climbed the steep hill. Our chatter stopped on its own. The Great Stupa stood right in front of us. It is a huge stone dome shaped like half a ball. This visit offered no wild nights or huge thrills. It gave us a shared feeling of wonder instead. We sat still on the old stones. We watched the plains stretch out below.
