First step: I soak the mushroom inside water because it is a dry mushroom to make it fresh and also to make it big. I soak a little of it because it use I to rise very well. After soaking it for a while, I wash it very well; I wash it twice in other I not to make my soup have sand in it at all.

Step 2: I wash my fish, cow skin, and also the mushroom and put them inside the pot, put Maggie and ground pepper inside, and pour it over the mushroom and fish that I have washed. I mix all of them together, then I add a little water to it, then take it to the gas to enable them to boil for some minutes.

Step 3: After the things had boiled very well, I added pepper and added oil to it and then allowed it to boil very well. Then I added a little ground groundnut to it, and then I mixed them very well. The main reason why I added the ground groundnut to it is to make it thick very well. Then after some time, I added the hot leaves inside it and then mixed them together and also allowed them to boil together for, like, 5 minutes before I switched off the gas, and my soup was ready to eat.

In life it is definite that human beings must face challenges in order to make the person grow. One of the challenges I face while making the soup first is getting the mushroom, due to the nature of our weather, it is now the dry season, and mushrooms is very hard to get, so getting the mushroom is for this challenge is part of my challenges.

Secondly My gas burner is just going off and on; it is just doing everything to make me feel worried because when I reduced the gas so that I can add all my ingredients without it boiling over, the gas would increase itself back, and the next thing it would reduce itself, or it would just be off.

Thirdly, Maggi was also my challenge. I was thinking that the Maggi I have will reach me cook my food, but to my greatest surprise there was no Maggi in my Maggi box, and the Maggi store was not open then, I had to borrow Maggi from my neighbor to enable me to cook the soup.

Fourthly, My gas burner is burning from one sides of the gas, and the other side is not burning at all. It takes time before everywhere burns, and if it burns round, it will return back to normal as burning from one side. Sometimes it will be burning on half of the sides of the gas, this particular one is the strongest challenge I face during making this soup because I nearly give up because of what the gas burner was doing.

🍲 Have you made mushroom soup before? What is your experience with this soup? (2.5)

I have eaten mushrooms soup, it is my best soup and my favourite soup, my experience about the soup is very very stressful before it was my first time then and also I did many errors.

My experience then was the mushroom wasn't have to get because it was raining season the mushroom is available everywhere and it is my friend that taught me how they cooked the soup.

🍲 Which soup bowl was your favorite in all weeks, and would you recommend this six-week challenge for a healthier choice in the winter season? (2)

My favourite soup for this season's 28 learning challenges is all about the tomato soup because it can serve for many things, like you can use it to eat rice, eat bread, and also many things, like Yam and many others.

Yes, I can recommend this week's challenge for winter seasons because mushroom soups are nutritious and also warming at this season, it is very hard for you to get mushrooms, and also the mushrooms raise up very well and also it makes sense.

Inviting @dilawaiz11, @dove11, @kafio, and @ngoenyi to join me on this contest.
