Palichra Stadium is a well-known and vibrant sports center of Rangpur city. It is located in Naya Pukur Bazar area of Rangpur district headquarters of Bangladesh. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, one can feel a different atmosphere just by entering this stadium. The open sky all around, the green grass fields and the excitement of sports make the place come alive. It was a real pleasure for me to get a chance to go to such a place as I have been interested in sports since childhood.On entering the stadium, the first thing one sees is the large green field, where football, cricket and various local sports competitions are held regularly. In the afternoon many youngsters and teenagers are seen engaged in sports.

Some are practicing cricket, some are playing football, some are running or exercising. It is also nice to enjoy the game as there is seating all around for the spectators. The atmosphere becomes even more lively when the stadium is filled with spectators when there are occasional local tournaments or school-college matches.The stadium is not only a place for sports, it is also a favorite place of entertainment and leisure for many. Many people come here to walk or exercise in the morning. clean environment,The open air and natural beauty refreshes the mind. A little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, spending time here offers peace of mind.

Palichra Stadium located at Naya Pukur Bazar in Rangpur District is not just a simple playground but a complete sports center for local sports lovers with various sports equipment and facilities. As soon as you enter the stadium, you can see the large green field, which is mainly designed for playing football and cricket. The grass on the field is regularly mowed and maintained, allowing players to practice comfortably.For cricket there are stumps, balls, bats, balls and nets for practice. Sometimes the players are seen practicing batting and bowling in the nets, which helps to improve their skills. Two strong goalposts, nets and standard footballs are used to play football as well. These tools play a very useful role during local tournaments or friendly matches.

Some essential equipment for exercise and fitness is also seen. There are open track-like areas for running, where many jog or run in the morning and afternoon. In the afternoon, several teams are often seen practicing together or friends playing matches together. The setting of the stumps, the preparation of the batsmen in the pad-gloves, the run-up of the bowlers these scenes bring the stadium to life. From young to old, from school-college students to youngsters, everyone is very interested in cricket.The practice net in particular is very interesting to me, as it creates different opportunities for players to improve their skills. Here they can practice batting or bowling with focus,Tries to correct their own mistakes without outside interference. It also increases the confidence of the players.

The most memorable moments I spent at the Palichra Stadium in Rangpur's Naya Pukur Bazar were watching sports and experiencing a little shopping around. Even before entering the stadium, the atmosphere outside is very lively. Small shops, tea stalls and light snack stalls on the roadside are crowded with people. Some of the spectators who come to watch the sport are having tea, some are buying Chanachur or nuts, and some are chatting with friends. These small scenes make the whole place look like a kind of fair.The experience of going inside the stadium and sitting in the gallery to watch the game was really great. A local cricket match was going on that afternoon.

The feeling of enjoying the game together is very special to me.Sometimes I would go out to watch the game and buy tea or light food and come back to the gallery. There is a different fun of watching the game while sitting with hot tea. The experience becomes even more enjoyable especially on winter afternoons. The smiling faces and cordiality of the local vendors make the whole atmosphere more personal.
