*Parbatipur Model Mosque*

What kind of religious cultural place have you visited? Introduce briefly.

I visited a Muslim religious cultural place, a mosque. This mosque is located inside the Upazila complex area of Parbatipur town. I have visited this mosque several times before to offer prayers.

The special thing about this mosque is not only its beautiful exterior but also its peaceful and attractive interior environment. Anyone who enters this mosque will easily fall in love with its calm and spiritual atmosphere.

As Muslims, we offer five daily prayers in different mosques. Some mosques become more popular due to their design, environment, and facilities, and people try their best to pray there. Similarly, this Parbatipur Model Mosque is one of the most popular mosques in our town.

This model mosque was established in 2019, and currently it is in very good condition. Since it was built during the previous government period, I would still like to thank them for constructing such a beautiful and well-planned mosque.

Whenever I get time, I like to visit different historical and cultural places, and among them, Parbatipur Model Mosque is one of my favorites. We offered prayers there, spent some time walking around, and took a few photos to share with you today.

What kind of religious activities are seen here? (With pictures + videos)

Various religious activities are held at this model mosque. Along with the five daily congregational prayers, Tablighi Jamaat activities are also organized here. Members of Tablighi Jamaat often stay for 3 days, 40 days, or different durations and conduct religious programs.

They offer five daily prayers here and spread Islamic teachings among people, encouraging Muslims to become regular in prayer. That is why they can be seen in different mosques at different times.

Daily congregational prayers are performed here regularly, and many devoted worshippers come every day to offer prayers. Even during the COVID period, Eid prayers were arranged at this mosque, and we also attended Eid prayer here at that time. It was a very good experience.

All religious activities in this mosque are managed and conducted by devoted Muslim brothers in a disciplined manner.

What attracted you the most about this place? Or show the prices of books at that religious equipment store.

The architectural design of this model mosque attracted me the most. Similar model mosques have been built across different districts and upazilas of Bangladesh using the same design, which sets a great example.

High-quality tiles have been used throughout the mosque, many of which seem to be imported. The interior environment is very clean, organized, and peaceful. Government-appointed Imams and Muazzins serve here, which helps maintain discipline and quality.

The mosque has a beautiful minaret that can be seen clearly from far away. Modern facilities such as fans, lights, and air conditioning have been installed. There are shelves and cabinets inside the mosque where Islamic books, the Holy Quran, and Hadith books are kept, allowing worshippers to read freely.

All these features made this mosque very attractive to me.

Is there any special moment or experience?

Yes, there is a very memorable and funny experience related to this mosque. When the mosque was under construction, we had no idea how beautiful it would look. But once the construction was completed, it looked absolutely stunning.

People from distant places started coming to pray here. The upper floor is reserved for women, and the ground floor is for men. One funny incident happened when some of my friends tried to go to the second floor to pray and were stopped, as it was only for women. We laughed a lot about that incident, and it became an unforgettable memory.

On the first day, the mosque was extremely crowded. Many people could not find space inside and had to pray outside. Everyone was taking photos and sharing them on Facebook. That first-day excitement and fun will always remain in our memories.

Finally, I can say that Parbatipur Model Mosque is one of the most beautiful religious structures in Parbatipur town. People from different areas come here, especially on Fridays for Jummah prayer. The Imam delivers khutbahs very clearly and beautifully, which helps worshippers gain Islamic knowledge easily.

There is a parking facility, CCTV security, and overall excellent management. From all aspects, this mosque has become a model mosque for Parbatipur town.
