Big trees such as this always take me back to Treebeard and the Ents in 'Lord of the Rings' a good read @fates
Movies were not bad, just never capture imagination quite the same way that a book is able to.
I loved the Ents! and fully agree with you there!
something about massive trees make them majestic and the fact that they have been around so long standing firm when all the world around them has changed, makes them otherworldly .
