Tree Tuesday – Sunset, Trees and Kaleidoscope
The sunlight was shining on a pine cone nicely today so I took this picture of one of my favorite trees. I’m not sure what kind of tree it is but the cones are interesting and they flake apart when you pull on them. My guess is that it is some type of pine tree.
Recently I saw an interesting orange sunset through the trees. I took a picture and it wound up looking a bit unusual. Maybe the way the camera was set or the lighting of the bright sun against the vertical tree trunks caused some odd looking colors in the sky by the tree tops. I thought the results were a bit surreal.
I used the previous picture to make this kaleidoscope type image and added a reflective bubble. It kind of reminds me of Christmas wrapping paper of something.
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S7 the kaleidoscope picture was done with Softimage XSI and Photoshop. Tree Tuesday was started by @old-guy-photos
I really like both the reflection images, dear brother. Below are my versions:

Wow, very cool! It gives me a yin and yang type feel. "Viewing Sky though Trees" or something like that. Nice job dear brother.
Please help me to develop my steemit
At first I thought the pine cone looked like a bees nest!!
Sure wont look the same with the leaves out.
I totally got the Christmas vibe before reading you say it!! Very cool.
It does have an insect nest kind of look to it. The cones and tree are pretty unusual.
Who knows maybe I'll see the graphic on some Christmas wrapping paper in the store some day and I'll have to go after a company in some podunk place for copyright infringement, LOL. Send lawyers, guns and money... Just think about the absurdity of making cheap profits at a celebration of universal love and compassion by STEALING MY GRAPHIC. I will have my revenge! Release the killer Rat Terrier. Muhahaha and other evil laughter. (Mostly kidding, of course ;)
LOL yes indeed!! I have to say that cracked me up! Some dude right now is planning to do a big run of YOUR pattern on that metallic looking gift wrap LOL!! You wait, we will both do a double take when we see it on the shelf this Christmas LOL!!
Hope you have a good weekend! We STILL have snow! Ugggh!
LOL! Thanks! You too, it is supposed to warm up and be nice for gardening this weekend. It has been rainy all day and howling wind right now.
Send lawyers, guns, money and release the killer Rat Terrier, oh my God! feeling for the offender already, lol.
Very nice smartphonephotography my dear @ligthsplasher.
There have been rarely made a post, I really miss you 😂😂
I hope you are fine and always in good health. 😊😊
Thank you, I usually don't post too often. I try to get around to it but I don't have much to show or say and I get really busy doing other things. I hope things are well with you too and you always have good heath.
thank good you are fine .. hehehe thank you @lightsplasher

The sunset through the trees gives a beautiful color 🧡🧡🧡
Thank you. Sunset colors have been looking beautiful for some time now.
Awesome! can't wait for the sunset photos in the next post :)
Some great shots, lightsplasher. That pine cone is different. Never seen on like that and I loved the sunset and fractal art.
Thank you. It is fun to create and post. The tree is different looking too and pretty unique.
Perhaps an ancient species.
These are beautiful skills really, i hope i get to acquiring some soon! And it's nice to know that Tree Tuesday is an initiative of @old-guy-photos, really, there are so many beautiful trees around!
I don't post a lot but I try to get around to Tree Tuesday because I like trees so much. There are so many trees where I live.
Thanks for the upvote!
The sun is a source of energy on earth, so that with the sun trees can creep up to grow high into the sky, like a beautiful pine tree @lightsplasher.
Yup, and with solar energy we won't have to cut down so many trees to burn in our fireplace, lol.
Cutting down trees is a bad deed and harms many people and the future of the earth.
Planting and caring for cypress trees is a noble thing, because it gives a good effect to our health and the environment, @lightsplasher.

I love this picture. You shoot it perfectly.
Thank you.
I wait for the next post from you
I am interested to see the bird's nest above the tree ... if I may know ... is really a bird's nest.
I like your post @lightsplasher... you'are the best my friends.
It is actually a pine cone. It looks a bit different from the usual pine cone. I took one home and kept it for awhile but they kind of fall apart after they dry out, so I threw it away.
