On this very average Tuesday night, I would just like to give thanks to those who have let the light shine through their lives. I applaud those of you who are serving in food banks, tutoring your children, shopping for those that can't, or possibly won't out of fear, being there for those that need the support, the camaraderie or perhaps a sanity check. I like to remember the "ordinary saints" of our everyday life who just let the light shine through... Thank you for being a friend for a friend.

There are days that I am running in conflicting directions and totally miss out on a piece of life…. But today, I was fishing for it – and I caught a soft, yet engaging scent, that just added to the harmony of that moment.

Running late, but, nonetheless, I showed up with a tree, dedicated to #TreeTuesday initiated by @Old-Guy-Photos. If you didn't get your tree up yet, you are later than me.

There is peace in my garden, my place of quiet and tranquility. The seeds of gladness are fully rooted. Weed and prune where necessary.... then get ready to start blooming. We forget sometimes that it takes a lot of hard work up front, followed by a bit of trust and the belief that despite the harsh elements, things will eventually work out. As soon as you think that it's all for naught, a flower emerges. Yes #alwaysaflower
