Well done Steemit you've managed to curate some good content today but it's not a perfect score. And as more cream rises to the top we can see the sour cream starting to build at lower levels in the trending tab.

Perhaps if we had a total maximum self promotion figure of say 100 SBD you could get a kick start and yet not actually take away from the people who spend time making good content and those that curate it.

I see @minnowbooster now has daily limits of 20 SBD which is a great start and they should be congratulated for taking the initiative.

As you know I use bots myself but not excessively, as I too want to pop my head above the waterline. And maybe one day I'll have enough funds to go really big to prove a point.

But rest assured it will be a very big statement when it happens
