How Post gets Trending.

I just wonder how post become trending. I see posts dated as old as 4 days ago still trending. And mine gets not even a single upvote. What kind of writing does this system wants. My writings are my own and not the copied one.I even started to upload images in the post to get some attention and by default the system shows trending post even when I select show new post. First couple of post will be old one always.

Are there any word limit to be maintained? I mean do I have to write lengthy post to get in top. It is not overnight work to be start trending. But there must be some improvement as I keep on posting.

I tried reading some to do steps but was not fruitful. Now am planning to post regularly for few days to see if it will improve my ranking. I have high hopes in STEEM to make my post trending

I don’t know if there are bots that will make this post unseen by anyone. Well I will see how freedom of writings works here.
