フレディ・マーキュリーも収集した伊万里焼の魅力
伊万里焼をご存知ですか？
伊万里焼は日本の佐賀県伊万里市にある大川内山にて生産された磁器の総称のことです。
映画「ボヘミアン・ラプソディー」が話題のQUEENのボーカリストで親日家でもあるフレディ・マーキュリーも伊万里焼を収集していたんですよ！
大川内山（おおかわちやま）は、佐賀藩・鍋島家の御用窯が置かれた場所です。その卓越した技法を守るため、大川内山に優秀な細工人や画工を集め、色鍋島など当時としては技術の粋を結集させて製陶にあたらせたのが始まりです。ここには明治の廃藩に至るまで鍋島の御用窯が置かれていましたが、陶技の秘法を漏らさないよう、大川内山の入口に関所を設け人の出入りを厳しく規制するとともに、焼成された焼物についても市販されることなく将軍家、諸大名への献上贈答品、藩庁用品として用いられ珍重されました。
大川内山といえば、ゴツゴツとした岩肌をむき出しにした屏風岩の風景が有名です。その風景に映えるようなレンガ煙突は青山窯。昔から伝わる職人の技と、モダンなデザインが人気です。
伊万里焼の秘訣は青磁原石と呼ばれる石で、今でも組合に属している窯元しか利用できないそうです。
次に訪れたのは小笠原藤右衛門。鍋島の伝統技術を守り続ける、歴史ある民窯です。「安全・安心」が求められる現代において鉛を全く使わない無鉛絵の具に変更したそうです。
磁器で加工された橋。伊万里市では随所でこのようなオブジェを見かけました。磁器が身近に感じられます。
文三窯ではところ狭しと磁器が置かれています！靴を脱いで見学しましたが、転んでお皿を割らないように気をつけました！和モダンな雰囲気で好きでした！
絵皿にも描かれる大河内山の大木。側には武将「加藤清正」も祀られています。
伊万里焼せいらではお正月っぽい絵皿がかわいかったです！
今回の旅で私は「そばちょこ」「湯のみ」「ブローチ」を購入しました！あまり高いものは買えませんので、どれも3000円以内です。気に入っています！
大川内山はアクセスしにくい場所にありますが、日本の原風景を楽しむことができます！近くには温泉もあります。ぜひ旅行してみてください♪

Queenのメンバーは親日家で、その中でもフレディはプライベートでも来日するほど日本が好きだったようですね。
私の母が萩市出身なので、実家には萩焼の陶器は沢山ありました。伊万里焼も素敵ですね。
佐賀は吉野ヶ里遺跡には行ったことがあります。大川内山にもいつか行ってみたいです (^^)

この記事書くにあたって調べたらフレディはたしかにお忍び来日してました！英語の中でも和装シーンがあるみたいですね！吉野ヶ里遺跡は公園として整備されててけっこう楽しいらしいですよ！萩焼も素敵ですね！大川内山いいところでした！ただ高いものは本当に高い(-.-;)
