Sure. But my money's on the exchanges and steemit.com remaining pointed at the current coup-fork. Without websites, a Steem Classic fork (or would it be simply Steem? Ethereum Classic is the one that declined to arbitrarily impose new state) would probably not really go anywhere.
It seems that the exchanges have already placed their bets; a chain without liquidity isn't a very relevant chain.
remove your witness votes for this fork. Put it back into the witnesses running 22.2. Your investment in steem is about to become worthless is you don't-just like the rest of ours.
If you are a steemit employee/contractor, please do the right thing and send them a resignation letter and protest the CCP takeover. Might want to release 22.6 and install which deletes all the coins held by houbi, binance, and steemit inc too. That'll be interesting when the exchanges who robbed this community realize they can no longer pay back the real owners of the coin and the exchanges are forced to buy it themselves.
