Tron is attempting to hostile take-over the network, that's what this announcement is actually say, in weird political lies. Most of the dApps shut down as a protest, their way of saying "No, we will not be taken over."
I understand!! even if Tron wouldn't be a bad partner !! history teaches that it is better to ally between us and not make war, especially in this world. Always being fair to others.
