The Death of Truth; The Birth of Idiocy

in #truth8 years ago

The truth is not alive. The truth is not dead. It struggles.

Yiddish Proverb

This is not a philosophical discussion about the 'nature of truth'. This is a discussion about how dogma, doctrine, ideology, and the media serve as mouth-pieces for propaganda, and how that propaganda's sole purpose is to wage an assault on the truth in an attempt to create a international assembly of zombified idiots. If someone actually believes that there is no such thing as 'truth', or that truth is irrelevant, then they are an idiot indeed. Truth is not relative, nor is it subjective. Truth cannot be 'fluid'. It is our perception of truth that shifts, and what causes it to do so is the propaganda that we willingly swallow.

Hollywood

Think hard. What is the largest propaganda factory propaganda factory in the world, and where is it located? If you answered 'Hollywood', you'd be right. Now here's a bit of crazy for you:

There are people who actually believe that the ruling 'elite' are sending us secret messages via motion picture story lines.

Okay, there is a certain valid 'theology' behind this belief. Unfortunately, when people start mixing in 'Illuminati' world domination plans, and the alternative media takes up the 'cause', things are bound to get strangely skewed. To them, it all has something to do with some weird and vaguely understood Illuminati need to disclose what they are going to do before they do it. The principle they are poking at in their theories - and getting so hopelessly screwed up - is actually a fairly well known occult one. At issue is the concept of consent. In short, because of the divine principle of free will, an evil entity needs to somehow gain a person's consent before it can take over that person's life. That is pretty much the cost of doing business with one of these entities. However, how that consent is gained is of little concern to the entity. All that matters is that the person say 'yes'; full disclosure is not required. Evil entities are into legalism, not ethics.

So, dump the nonsense about the Illuminati needing disclosure in order to fulfill a bizarre contract with evil. Evil is like a corporate lawyer: it wants your signature on the contract, and the less you understand about what you just signed, the better. Hollywood's crime is far more insidious, albeit a lot less titillating in a conspiratorial sense. The propaganda that they are pumping into the empty heads of their popcorn munching victims is aimed at one thing, and one thing only: defaming the sanctity of the human body. Forget about 'family values'. Family values are secondary to what a person does to themselves, when they degrade the body that they have to live in. The normalization of nudity, vulgarity, and plenty of pressure to engage in sex - that is what Hollywood is about. Lots of sex. The more the better. Sex that is so depraved, not even animals living in the wild indulge in it at the height of mating season when their hormones override all of their other instincts.

You can't have 'family values' when people are being fed a constant stream of messages that are specifically designed to undermine the belief in the sanctity of their own bodies, and to replace that belief with a desire to profane the most sacred thing that they possess: again, their bodies. It is the penultimate sacrilege, the closest Hollywood can safely come to waving a raised index finger in the face of God and all who believe in Him.

Yes, I do believe that Hollywood is trying to remake society according to its own political agenda. Only a few decades ago actors were considered political jokes, people who had the audacity to think that playing the role of a doctor on a day-time soap-opera qualified them to dispense medical opinions. Now actors are in in governments, and even worse, heavily influencing governments. Films have always been propaganda mouth-pieces, spreading the official lie. Now they are being used to completely reform society by embedding 'this is cool' and 'that is evil' propaganda into the minds of film-goers and television viewers.

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly. It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over."

Joseph Goebbels

One of my favorite propagandists is Joseph Goebbels. The man is rightly recognized as an evil genius extraordinaire, not because of his Nazi affiliation, but because his proficiency in manipulating what a society believed was true, and making them love the lies he was feeding them. He knew how, when, where, and in what way to push society's buttons in order to achieve an specific result.

Hollywood has managed to surpass Dr. Goebbels. Whereas Joseph Goebbels sought to create an awake and active nation, Hollywood is trying to create a world of sleepwalkers. What Hollywood is creating through its propaganda disguised as entertainment is world where people hit one button to get their daily fix of happy drugs, another to get their daily fix of socially-numbing sex, and yet another button to get whatever else they've become hooked on in place of reality. In between hitting the buttons, they function as mindless drones, performing spirit-deadening jobs, and living on subsistence level (or below) wages.

Only an idiot would voluntarily subject themselves to that - and yet millions of people are doing so willingly.

If certain elements now believe that Hollywood is sending the planet messages about the nature of reality via films like 'The Matrix', and that it is broadcasting Illuminati plans, you should probably believe that that is precisely what Hollywood wants them to believe. What better way to really screw with people's concepts of what is real and true, and what isn't?

How Did We Get Boxed In Like This?!!

Ideologies, theologies, doctrines and regurgitated knowledge - this is how truth dies a miserable death. As bad as Hollywood brainwashing is, this type of truth-murdering is twice as bad. We laugh at people who actually believe Hollywood bullshit, but tag a PhD on to someone's name and the excrement coming out of their mouth becomes sacred. Their opinions are even more infallible than the Pope's.

Even worse, like the Pope, they believe in their own infallibility.

This creates walls that keep out truth, and help to enshrine lies. Orthodoxy invariably attempts to murder original thought whenever original thought dares to rear its unsightly head. It is only logical that this should happen. After all, when a person has spent tens of thousands of dollars getting their prized degree, and decades building his/her reputation on a specific set ideas put forth by previous thinkers, they will fight like hell against anything that might negate or point out error in those earlier ideas.

But camels didn't originally come from Africa. Their ancestors have now been proven to have lived in the Canadian Arctic.

If we open up the box of our own thinking, a lot of answers to questions that have been deemed 'unanswerable' for ages will come flooding in.

Take, for example, the question of who Melchizedek was? I've seen this one getting deflected in a million ways, including being buried in semantics. 'We must dissect his name!' one big-name theologian insists. There is a crazy little dance that goes on around this biblical character, one that avoids a very obvious truth: if Melchizedek was a priest of the Most High, then there were believers in the land of Canaan long before Abraham arrived. Abraham came to Canaan in order to join other believers who were already there. This means something astounding theologically; Abraham was not the first man to enter into a covenant with the Most High God. I will let the reader work out the ramifications of that one.

Remember that if one researcher had not been willing to open her mind to the faint glimmer of light that a bone shard was shinning into the darkness of her preconceived notions, we would not know that Camels existed in the Canadian Arctic long before they did in Africa. She opened the boxed-in areas of her understanding, and dared to step outside of them in order to find the truth.

The truth is not irrelevant, even if you have no interest in where Camels come from!

Unfortunately, daring to question the official line can still put you on the wrong side of a lynch-mob.

The Alternative Media

The 'alternative media' well deserves the knocks it gets for spreading hogwash as gospel truth. Some of the things going on in it are enough to make a sane person's mind spin. And the hypocrisy! Oh, the hypocrisy... !

I will start with a prime example of one of the things that is so very wrong, and sooo very hypocritical, about the alternative media. In a nutshell, they are just as guilty as the mainstream media of cherry-picking of someone's words and quotes, and then placing them in situations that are completely out of context. Who would have thought that anyone could get so much mileage, and so many twisted theories, out of the simple words ‘Non-Terrestrial Officers’?

In case you are in the dark, these words come from one of the personnel lists found in the information that Gary McKinnon came across while hacking into U.S. government computers. The alternative media sees it as solid proof that a secret space bases exist, and that collusion with extraterrestrial beings is going on. Even Linda Moulton Howe is flinging this around as if it is conclusive 'evidence'.

But... Gary McKinnon himself states in an interview with RichPlanet.tv that he 'interpreted' the term ‘Non-Terrestrial Officers’ to mean that the US must have a secret space-based fleet, but that he does not rule out the possibility that it may refer to something far more mundane. Click here for the interview - the comments come at around 11 minutes in.

This is not the only instance of taking things completely out of context that I have found - just please don't expect me to slough through all the garbage out there in order to relocate the other incidences.

The overriding problem with the alternative media is that it latches on to one thing, usually a tiny thing, and embroiders a huge false and/or presumptive narrative around it. Often, because it is so busy embroidering, it misses important sign-posts that might just be pointing towards an actual truth. I am often left wondering if all of the nonsense being flung about is nothing more than an attempt to provide circuses for people with suspicious minds to lose themselves in. The alternative media has certainly proven that it has little tolerance for, and even less interest in discovering, real truth when it disrupts the narrative it is pushing. And, sadly, the alternative media sometimes acts as a destructive and hateful force, as it has proven in it's accusations that victims of real tragedies are nothing more than 'crisis actors'.

Sometimes, it's just a bloody circus with them! You can read David Cole's most recent TakiMag article on the topic hereif you want another take on how to deal with it.

Yes, I am kind of fond of David Cole. He's a moderate who had been branded all sorts of things by both sides of the political spectrum for the crime of simply wanting to get at truth. Please watch this video and pay special attention to what he has to say about 12 minutes in. It is the perfect summation of all that I have been trying to say in this post.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false"
Former CIA Director William Casey

The quote above, much beloved of the alternative media, is just another sad example of a quote plucked from it's context. Click on the hyperlink above (or here) to see its original context.

Pontius Pilate may have sadly asked, 'Truth? What is that?', however I am certain that if he lived today he'd scoff at how little respect truth gets these days. 'They believe that to be truth?' he'd demand. 'What a pack of $%^&* idiots! Even I know that isn't truth!'

Sort:

Ugh. I can't even begin to express my frustration with the "alternative media" equating mistakes that the alternative media makes all the time (taking things out of context, completely inaccurate statements), to occasional mistakes the mainstream media make and issue corrections for. ("equating" is the wrong word, words fail me right now). Oh well...

Sometimes I feel that we sometimes ask the wrong questions, or that our questions are too vague that it can easily be twisted into fitting into any narrative. So I would say it's not just about truth, but also about the finding the right questions to ask (to yield useful information/conclusions).

Yep, and it's getting worse every year. We have been taught to regurgitate, not think, evaluate evidence, sift, sort and piece together a whole picture. We also no longer accept that we don't know some answers, and we don't have the facts needed to even hazard a guess. Everything is based on emotions these days, not logic. But, we've also been burning heretics at the stake for so long it's kind of ingrained in us to keep our dissenting opinions to ourselves. To find truth, we need to be willing to change our opinions as the facts take shape.

A number of Hebrew/Jewish histories claim that Melchizedek was Shem son of Noah. If you follow the genealogies and ages in the Bible you will see that is would line up, as Shem was still living when Abraham was alive. Further, claims are made that Salem/Jerusalem was founded by Noah after the flood, where he set up a worship center to God, and after Noah died his son Shem took over as Melchizedek(Priest/King). This would be when Abraham shows up later. Some time after Shem dies the city is taken over by the Canaanites, Egyptians, and Jebusites until David conquers it and makes it the capital of Israel (I think to this Trump would agree).

If you follow the genealogies and the histories found in the old Testament, everyone on the face of the planet is descended from Noah, and all the Semites claim their descent from to be from Shem. There is no biblical support for the story of Shem being Melchizedek, as St. Paul would agree or he would not have referred to Jesus as being a high priest in the order of Melchizedek. I prefer to stick with the actual bible passages, and not refer to apocryphal texts that the Hebrews themselves found unworthy to include in the Torah. The problem with modern Judaism is that it has elevated 'tradition' to a status above scripture, and that is, in fact, heretical and the bible - Jesus actually - strongly condemns it. Sorry, but Trump has no place in the discussion of Melchizedek since he is not an biblical scholar by any standards.

I think one of St.Paul point's with Melchizedek was that Jesus was Priest and King, not under the Levite priesthood, but better than the Levite priesthood, like Melchizedek. Jesus didn't have to be a Levite to be a priest and this was a new concept for some. I think the identity of Melchizedek is purposefully left a mystery in the Bible for the purposes laid out by Paul.
Most of human history is not contained in the Bible, thus other sources can be a resource to help determine historical events. These sources are not to be trusted at the same level as the Bible, but how else would someone know anything about ancient Greece, China, Julius Caesar, the Middle Ages or even World War 2 without referencing some sources other than the Bible? Yes, Shem as Melchizedek is speculation by some based on historical documents, yes it could be in error, just like all documents outside the Bible, but I don't think it contradicts the Bible either, so I leave it open as a possible explanation, probably with the most historical documentation to support. As for the comment about Trump, that was a joke, as Jerusalem as the capital is so contentious.

The historical record does not support the claims of Exodus, while it has a lot to say about the peoples of that region in that time period, where they all came from, went to, believed and did. Many historical personages from that era have left actual historical traces, so I don't take stories like those found in Exodus literally.

If you have Netflix you might want to watch Patterns of Evidence: Exodus, there are also other archaeologists that claim the traditional dating of Egyptian history has some foundational errors.

where do i even start from, a lot of people in the world today are actually zombiefied and to worsen it all, if they are asked thy will brag as though they have a freewill.

these media outlets suggests to their subconsciousness and then they pick it up internally...pity.

This is a wake-up call.
