Jesus is the truth: When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father he will testify about me. John 15:26

There are many affirmations in the gospel of John that show Jesus as the personification of God's truth. The Kingdom of God is not only man who seeks the excellences of God, such as perseverance and the continuous improvement, but also that these excellences become person in Jesus, in other words, just as man becomes the "son of God", God becomes the"son of man."
In this sense, the gospel of John has a completely different spiritual depth than the synoptic gospels, because while these gospels are focused on detailing the actions of Jesus and some of his teachings, the evangelist John focused his spiritual texts on describing the true nature of Lord Jesus, that is why the gospel of John is called the gospel of the eternal life.
And it is because of this truth that the Holy Spirit has a fundamental role in the life of the Church, that is, the communion of believers in Jesus.
Jesus promised his disciples this spirit of wisdom and truth at Pentecost, before his departure when speaking to them at the Last Supper; a spirit that would strengthen them in the necessary gifts to teach that truth that is the "son of man" to a humanity oppressed by the suffering of sin.
With these words, Jesus announced to them at the last supper this spirit that, like an interior teacher, a true counselor, would transform them internally to bear witness to the faith:
"When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—he will testify about me. You also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning" John 15:26-27.
The Last Supper contained, like the Sermon on the Mount, one of Jesus' great speeches, with the difference that the Last Supper prepared the disciples to leave the worries of the world and accept the truth that comes from God.
