Yeah, but times also changed during the 90s. There were lots of people who said you couldn't do a Looney Tunes-style animated show anymore, even back then. This show proved them wrong.

For the record, I've never found "times have changed" to be a good excuse for anything. If time changes so much, then it is certainly fluid enough to change back.
