Asserting dominance through expanded LFT
The Hat [2026], The Hat Released by : Fairlight , Genesis Project
https://csdb.dk/release/?id=259070
Its rare to get demos like this today, full sized storyboad AND tek .... most old men dont write new code and stick to puzzle games and onescreener intros , which
in se isnt bad since the machine gets love and doesnt die, in terms of Tsukumogami the one i have actually after 42 years definitely is one (computers turn faster, its the exponential curve of all items)
There is this group that might have gone corporate due to the obsession they have with doing +1 but i think they dont or couldnt because they lose interest after they did , like for instance quite the 64k compos because they kept winning it without fail ???
Improving on LFTs nine sprites i bet it was not possible to resist the "BUT WE ARE FAIRLIGHT" syndrome once more qnd
well if it has a use for games 13 or more sprites per line certainly will come handy to someone and if it doesnt it sure makes for an awesome demo
and on top of that
Aloft [2026], Released by : Quiss, Genesis Project
https://csdb.dk/release/?id=259056
I dont think Quiss comes out unless the ISO norms for the quality label are assured ... and looking at the names i suspect something like hey Quiss and Raistlinn , you guys seem to have an awful pile of fx there made on sunday afternoons and never released or shown off
"well ofcourse not, its not worth making a demo for" (in the age of one-screeners)
"ah so WHY DONT WE"
stick it all together on a storyboard; its been a while
and so you get two magnificent pieces of art in just one party ? just what we asked for , more mojo, more demos that took time to write !
and as a bonus we get "O THIS HASNT BEEN DONE EVER IN 42 YEARS of C64" a few times
thats like christmas to demo appreciators
(doesnt mean they wont boo you out of the hall for not being part of the band , so handle with care ...)
