I've never understood politics and generally find it incredibly boring, just like meetings. Whoever sets the agenda already knows what the answers will be.
I'd rather do my own thing and be left alone. It seems awful to me to always have to stand up for something, beg for votes (that's why I'm so bad as a poor Steem witness), try to please everyone, constantly have to haggle, threaten, or lie, like that recently-appointed State Secretary in our minority cabinet who lied on her resume.
I hope you're right and there's no shared agenda other than self-interest. If that's the case, we also have a chance to leave, or... if Mohammed doesn't come to the mountain, the mountain comes to Mohammed. That would be so easy.
