Ulog #6: Remembering Xander

in #ulog6 years ago

One of the heart-breaking thing in the world is losing someone you love. And if you're me, the same goes to every dog.

Before, I was not a total fan of dogs. I actually hated them during my grade school days. But when a friend taught me how lovable and soft-hearted dogs are, I fell in love!

One of our dogs was Xander. He was a cotton-de-tulear breed. He was a cute cotton ball. He was given to us 3 years ago by my mama's patient who owned Xander's mommy.

This was his first picture at home. He was really shy then

Xander wasn't an easy boy before. He won't let me touch him. He always hide when I'm approaching. He stucks himself under the bed, table, and chairs. And at night, he sleeps in the bathroom because of the cold tiles.

But just like any other dogs, time made him all cuddly and bubbly around us. He loves to run along the grass. He loves to mop himself on the ground. He even love playing with the cats too!

These photos were taken 2 years ago when I was suffering from a three-week-long chicken pox. Definitely a disaster

Xander would always follow me around the house and even outside. There was an instance when my heart raced like crazy because Xander was standing still- IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I came rushing toward Xander then carried him like a baby.

Those were the times I spent with him while he was still alive. He just died over a week ago. He pooed poop and blood in a liquid form. My poor baby. I miss him.
