#ULOG 626 - Daily Thoughts - 20 Feb 19 - Homesteading Today...
Good Morning, Steemians! :D
We’ve got blue sky, a mild -14 C temperature, and sunshine here today, YAY! :D
That means the puppies and grand-puppies will be able to spend time outside between their many naps. :D Our handsome grand-puppy Tiny and his dapper dad Dakota are having one of those naps beside me right now while I drink my tea and start this post. :D
The milder temperature meant Red our rooster and the ladies got to come outside to enjoy some sunshine, that seems to have made them very happy. :D
There’s three of our supervisors, the lovely Lady, her beautiful sister Mya, and their pretty mom Karma, keeping an eye on us as we do the morning chores. :D Lady isn’t very happy about having to be on the chain while she’s outside, but that’s too bad, she should behave and stay in their fenced area and away from the road, until that happens it’s the chain for her. :D
The whole herd happily eating their oats this morning. :D
There’s a perfectly good doggy bed in the corner, so where does our handsome grand-puppy Shadow lay…not on it, of course, LOL. :D I think that might have been a strategic choice though, he’s laying right beside one of the cookie bins. :D
Our pretty Princess was the first one down to the pasture, followed closely by the handsome Buddy and a few minutes later the handsome Joker came on down for some hay. :D
I had to go and coax the beautiful Belle and her handsome son Leroy down to the pasture, Belle was afraid there might be oats left behind in one of the dishes and her handsome boy Leroy didn’t want to leave his warm milk supplier. :D
The herd took a break from horn wrestling and playing tag (I know it not really what they were playing, but that’s what it looked like), to come enjoy their mid-afternoon snack. :D
I thought my favorite tree looked so pretty with the wispy clouds and the sun beginning to set behind it, pretty enough to share the picture with you all. :D I hope you all think so too, let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments if you like. :D
Joker was in a rush tonight, so much so that he shoved past Leroy and Belle, to make sure he got to the barn first, while Princess and Buddy meandered along behind them. :D
My handsome husband and I played the Daybreak Game, EverQuest II (EQ II) this afternoon and we both earned a new mount, even my doppelganger/bodyguard got it, YAY! :D It jumps high and far, which really makes covering a lot of terrain so much faster and a lot more fun too. :D
We entered a dungeon, the first one I’ve been in since I started playing EQ II and there was another player in there that had a pink unicorn for a mount, I hope I get one of them someday soon, I love unicorns. :D
