RE: ULOG #37: Wednesday night walk under the rain
First of all, I'd say your smartphone takes way better lowlight pictures than mine does. I can't get anything to be that clear and colorful.
Second of all, that's a lot of rain and storms! We've been having sun and 80-90 degree weather here. We might need some rain, just to try to cool things off a little, although that generally shoots the humidity right up.
I'm amazed when people say they used crypto to pay their bills. That's awesome. I try not to wait until last minute, but sometimes I end up forgetting or waiting to try and push the bill to the next paycheck. We have some bills being paid online but most of them aren't. Some of them aren't set up to do that, others are a pain because they're using antiquated sites and systems. Plus, I like being in more control of when things get paid, so only a few are actually automatic payments.
I hope you're able to stay dry, and that the storm has passed. Hopefully, you got the rest you were looking for, too. :)
The storm has passed but the monsoon is still here to stay. At least we get a couple of hours
of sun during the day. It's tough staying dry and drying things lol!
I do have some bills paid thru my bank automatically but I miss paying using crypto.
If I could start using STEEM to pay things with, that would be awesome. I suppose I should be more interested in crypto than I am, so I might be able to use it more now, but I'm just not. I hold STEEM because that's what we receive here.
One of these days, it will come back. I believe it's more than just a passing fancy. The problem is getting enough businesses and services onboard, and when some of those are utilities, ran by a governing body or heavily regulated by them, the governing body, especially national ones, don't seem to be too keen on people using anything other than their brand of currency.
So, there's an ongoing monsoon? Or are you saying it's more or less the way the weather is going to be for a while, one major storm after another. I think I'd be happy for sunny breaks, too, in that case. Here, we're back up to 92, which makes like nine or so days out of the last dozen, and five in a row. I think we get a break into the upper 80s in a day or two. :)
