I would not have thought to put squash in chili! I never know what to do with squash. Maybe I should try that. I'm actually NOT allergic to them! I just don't know how to cook them. LOL

My next fave thing to do with butternut, is cube it, fry it in an indecent amount of butter, then when it starts to soften (it takes a while lmao) add some cinnamon and sugarrrr!!! Let it make a syrup, soften it as you like, it can even make some little sugary cinnamon butternut crispies on the edges!!!!
