Adventure of the Day #1
I'm really tired because I wasn't able to get sleep last night. So I'm going to skip trying to be creative with a Silver post. I'm going to show you some pictures of a little friend that I found some time ago. I was searching through pictures of my travels, and I saw these. I thought I'd share them.
I found a frog in a spot where he shouldn't be. I like animals, so I decided to help him by relocating him to an area that was more appropriate.
To be fair, he was probably actually a secret agent, and I was the bumbling security guard who let the frog into and out of the building without knowing that he stole the secrets... but what can you do?
Here's his mugshot in case you see him
Here's a picture of him after I released him back into the wild. He's a crafty one though as you'll see... or not see.
Ok, now it's time to "Find The Ingot!" Wait, I mean "Find the Frog."

Good post. Engage lazy comment.
Good comment. Engage upvote. ;)
BAAAHAHAHAHAH
Sorry the vote is so little now. I'm rather tapped out after increasing delegation to SSG. VG gave me a bit of encouragement to increase it and now I'm low. At least I still have enough that I don't run out of bandwidth. heh
You never know what could be lurking behind that innocent amphibious face. The frogs have been doing a good job of keeping a low profile with Kermit as they're affable, lovable spokesfrog.
But does that account for the devastation that Horned Frogs have been known to do, albeit on the college football field, and what about that poisonous tropical tree frog that plagued our heroes in Rio 2! Not so innocent there, were you frogs?
Beware, our little green hopping friends. We're onto you.
Secret Agent Frog!
Secret Agent Frog!
You've stolen all the secrets, and got taken by No Name.
lol!
That's true, man! They act all nice and sweet, but they really could be planning something! ;) At least now we're on to their schemes and can stop whatever nefarious plan they are putting in place.
They better not be in league with the chickens. That would be catastrophic. With the lions and the frogs on their side, the chickens would be nigh near unstoppable.
The last thing this world needs is chicken domination.
The cows were right. :)
The ChickenFrogalypse! Muah ha ha!
That would be pretty bad.
Yep, those Chick-Fil-A cows are smarter than they look.
I'd say that's true. Most cows are probably smarter than they look.
It's too bad we don't have a Chick-Fil-A near us. There's only two in the entire state so far and they're farther north than we normally end up.
One of these days, though, there will probably be a restaurant near us. In the meantime, I'm going to need to do my share of keeping the ChickenFrogalypse at bay by eating Foster Farms products and having my wife kiss frogs to turn them back into princes.
I'm not a bovine expert, so I can't speak to whether or not they're smarter than they look. They don't look especially smart, so I hope they're smarter than they look.
That's a bummer you don't have any Chick-Fil-A stores closer to you. I really enjoy their deluxe chicken sandwiches. Oh, and their waffle fries.
Ha ha ha. That's funny! I think you should write a story on that. :D
I probably should. I'll just heap it up on the ever growing pile of ideas for posts. Right now I'm in the middle of the freewrite posts and I haven't even been attempting the yard decoration stories. I'm about due for another one of those.
You've been keeping a low profile here, at least with me. I hope that's a sign of lots of things getting done in the outside world. Since you don't really share those things, other than to say in general there are things going and you need to attend to them, I can only wish you well with all of that.
I'm not that big a fan of Chick-Fil-A, but my oldest son is. He'll go miles out of his way to eat there, and since he'll be back in Oregon come the beginning of December, I'm sure he'll be frequenting that store regularly. :)
I'm glad to hear that you have lots of potential inspiration. Sometimes it's just having a pile of stuff from which to choose.
Sorry, I promise that I haven't been ignoring you. I've just been busy doing other things. This next week might be better for making the rounds, but then I know I'll be slowing down again following that. It just depends on what I have going on.
Yeah, I don't really share a lot about what I do. It's just how I am. I was never big into Twitter and all that nonsense. People don't need to know when I sneeze or where I'm going. I won't even install the insurance apps on my phone to get lower rates... and I would.
I recently restarted the Count of Monte Cristo. It's one of my favorite books and I haven't read it in a while, so I'm looking forward to that taking more of my time for a while. I'm not a fast reader, so I can enjoy a book for days and days.
Is there a specific reason that you don't like Chick-fil-a?
My money is on the last one.
#ChickenFrogalypse
I feel like this demands an answer, but I'm not sure of what. It's as if it were meant as a tag for your last comment, but for some reason deserved it's own comment. I'm sure its significance should not be understated, so, having it standalone is very apropos.
However, I fear it might be one of those "Rosebud" deals that someone utters just before some kind of untimely demise, so if you could at least give me something so I know that you're still among the living and that you were merely wanting to give it greater emphasis, you will put my mind at ease.
Otherwise, I will see what I can do to marshal the penguins, the freshwater salmon and the brown bears. Let me know. Okay?
I'll answer this one first. I forgot to put #ChickenFrogalypse as a hashtag in the last comment, so I added it as another.
I'm still among the living. I'm sure that you'll feel a disturbance in the Steem when I eventually go to meet my maker. Someone of such weighty vesting does not often go quietly.
Don't marshal the salmon and the bears. I tried to do that once, but even though they were on the same team, the salmon tried to eat the baby bears. It was a whole big thing. It got out of control and things got messy. I think there's still a fair amount of bad blood between them.
I appreciate you checking though. We wouldn't want a cry for help to go unnoticed. Thanks for checking in. :)
howdy there Blondie. brilliantly written post and I learned alot.
I'm glad you liked it. I'm surprised that you learned anything from it, but happy that it was instructional.
yes sir..haha, well at least I was being honest about the written part, the other part I was joking about, trying to use your dry sense of humor.
Clearly my sleep deprivation is taking a toll on my brain. My apologies for missing that. I'll try to be more alert next time. ;)
sir noname! what sleep deprivation are you suffering from or is that a joke? it's a joke right?
I'm suffering from acute aforementioned roosteritis. It's getting better though.
it better be. from where I come from that's a serious condition that can only be cured with gold!
Nope, they have a much better cure where you come from... or at least where you live now. It's called a .45. On the bright side, after it's cured, you get to eat a chicken dinner! :D
hahahaha awesome! Cute little frog. nice pictures man. And yes a bit different from your silver posts. I finally did my coin collection video/post! :) haha
Yeah, I had taken the pictures and promised the little frog that I would make him famous, so I figured I would switch it up. I haven't been as active recently, so I missed your coin post. I'm heading there now. :)
lol you could be his agent. LOL 30% cut of all his earnings. lol
I would sign up to be his agent, but we lost contact. After I let him go and took those last photographs he disappeared completely. I haven't seen him since then. That's how things go sometimes.
LOL :) Maybe your paths will cross again. haha
We'll see. I think I heard him mumble something about "good thing he packed his passport." I think that means he was intending to head for the boarder. We'll see though. I heard they weren't letting unaccompanied frogs through the boarder right now. Ha ha.
LOL LOL yeah poor guy is all on his own, who knows maybe he is looking for a lady frog to take out on a date. haha
It's true. The problem for him is that everyone knows if you kiss a frog it turns into a prince, so if he kisses a frog, then they'll both turn into human princes. That doesn't really help him either!
This is just another reason why I think you're such a great guy! Saving and relocating a frog/secret agent and taking the time to take photos, I'm sure you talked to him, and make sure that he was settled into his new home <3
So sweet! That's the kind of stuff Brian and I find ourselves doing :)
Thanks! Yeah, I tried to speak gently to him so he would know that he wasn't in danger. I like talking to and for animals. I crack myself up sometimes.
I could see you two helping some little frogs cross the street or something. :)
You crack me up too @themanwithnoname 😅
Oh we've stopped on the highway to help an injured bird, I've stopped bikes on a path to let a duck and it's ducklings walk across it, Brian even works to get bugs out of the pool if they're still alive :) All God's creatures, right?😅
That's so sweet of you! Yep, they're all God's creatures. Some of them I don't like as much, but He still made them all. Ha ha!
I was just swimming the other day and saw a moth that had fallen in the water. I cupped my hands and threw him out. Saved his life. He was pretty shaken up and mostly sat there and dried off. I never did see if he flew off.
I also helped a bee out of the pool a few days before that. I guess it's just where bugs go to die. Ack!
awww @themanwithnoname, you just can't help it when you see them in there struggling like that!
Yeah, it was tough to watch. I'd like to say it was because I didn't want another dead bug to swim around in, but it was rather painful to watch it struggle. I don't like seeing things hurting. I'd like to think that if someone saw me struggling like that, that they would help me instead of letting me drown.
Wow, that's a real way to look at! So true 😅
right. only you would think this was sweet.
You rednecks have no heart.
oh man..hey at least I answer replies.
haha I answer them, just not as quickly as you do @janton 😎
well it's true that some people have a life.
but they don't call me Jibber Jabber Janton for nothing.
hahaha I forgot that I authored that one Jibber Jabber Janton!! 😅
don't get cocky on us. you had one flash of brilliance in coming up with that nick name but we might have to wait another 30 years for the next one.
Helping the animals in your travels, well done Blondie
Thanks, buddy! I do what I can. :)
I found it! It is at the right of a yellow leaf, at the right side of the photo. As the first to find it, do I receive 2 points?
Yep, that's it. Good job! Sure, you get 2 frog points! I'm not sure what they're good for at this point, but let me know if you find out. :)
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
