Picker Adventures

Below is an antique mirror and a framed Java moth i purchased at an estate auction. I use to buy and sell many items. I purchased these for $5 each.

I thought the mirror was a picture frame at first because it was so faded. Later i found out it was handcrafted from the 40's & the way they use to make mirrors caused them to fade eventually. Some collectors prefer the fade and for it to be original.

I sold the mirror for $350 to a bar in New York City. When the package arrived the mirror was shattered like someone stepped on it. I had it packaged excellent as well so someone really had to give it a good kick.

Luckily i insured the package and actually received $400 and the mirror back. I am planning on having it restored and selling it again.

The moth i sold for $100 to a collector. Real fun meeting so many interesting people and learning about different items i otherwise would know nothing about. Injoy

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

Luckily i insured the package and actually recieved $400 and the mirror back.
It should be received instead of recieved.

Gonna use it for scyring? Hehe. My dlive dived sorry. Stupid servers....
