UN concern over Gaza deaths
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres expressed concern in Vienna that "I am very concerned about the news of killing so many people from Gaza."
United Nations Human Rights High Commissioner Jed Rud Al Hussein also condemned the violence at the Israel-Gaza border and remarked that the ongoing massacre is 'tragic'. He said that accountants should be accountable for human rights violations.
The strike called the PLO
43 Palestinians killed on Monday in the Israeli army firing in protest-clashes in Gaza-Israel border in the wake of the US embassy's opening in Jerusalem.
The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has called a general strike to express condolence over this incident. The strike will continue throughout the Palestinian territories, said PLA executive committee member Wasel Abu Youssef.

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has been describing the US Embassy movements in Jerusalem as "provocative" in a tweet after Monday morning.

Human rights groups also condemned Israel's use of military power at the Gaza border. International human rights organization Amnesty International criticized the Israeli move as a serious violation of international law.
