Corti's artificial intelligence algorithm

in #undefined5 years ago

A Danish study showed that an artificial intelligence algorithm developed to detect cases of heart attacks was able to detect cases with greater success than humans.

The algorithm developed by Corti, an artificial intelligence firm based in Copenhagen, began to be tested on emergency telephone lines in Denmark earlier this year.

The algorithm tries to recognize the signs of heart attack based on the tone of voice and the sound of breath.

According to a study in which Corti's artificial intelligence algorithm was applied to 161,650 emergency interviews, the algorithm recognizes the signs of a heart attack faster and more accurately than employees answering emergency phones.
