The peace that God gives his children is a peace that exceeds all human knowledge, so many people away from this great truth it is difficult to understand how there are troubled people who can still experience the peace of God.
There is another conglomeration of people who believe that the material is what satisfies and can fill the heart with peace. These are totally far from the truth, because peace is not given by material things.
In that order of ideas we find the psalmist saying "better is a dry bite, and in peace than a house full of delicacies but in contention". The people that we have some day enjoy a dry bite we know that it is not very good. However, if there is peace that dry bite becomes peaceful and tasty, we enjoy it in the stillness of God, but if there is no peace we can taste many provisions but we do so distressed, anguished ...
It is worth saying that it is more beneficial to have the peace of spirit that God gives us by grace, to fight in a house full of material goods, because it is useless to possess them if there is no peace.
It is a gift to possess the peace that God gives to all those who seek him in spirit and truth.
The peace of God is not negotiable, it is acquired by God's grace and mercy.
