Alice in Wonderland

Syndrome attacks are experienced briefly and consciousness is maintained.

After the visual symptom, motor findings may be seen in the form of rotation on the head, eye and body. The eye disappears when it is open and it increases with darkness again after 1-20 sec. Owen Pickrell suggests that signs of discomfort may occur at night and may lead to the appearance of AIWS by the reduction of light and sound before sleep or by chemical changes in the brain that are in the process of sleeping.
